Mar Villora is a Double Degree student in Law and Economic Science at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. When she began her university studies, she joined a students’ Association dedicated to the promotion of the United Nations’ values in her home university.
She participated at the prestigious Internship Ruta BBVA, where she was awarded with the first prize at Intiland Entrepreneurship Competition. Having developed her enterprise, she had the honour to have won the UPF Emprèn Business Shuttle Competition for Youth Startups.Specialising her studies towards Public International Law, she has participated in numerous simulations of the International Court of Justice, having been awarded with best grades and honours by the Faculty Dean. She has undertaken training in solving problems in difficult situations volunteering in India and Nepal with several NGO’s, and strongly advocates and fights for freedom and equality. This has not only broadened her outlook, but also enabled her to take the initiative and the lead in a crisis, reaffirming her position towards political activism and youth-empowerment.
