We are pleased to announce that Ali Zain Kara will be serving as one of two Deputy Secretaries-General for SEIMUN this coming April. Currently in his final year of university, Ali is pursuing a Bachelors in International Relations from Sabanci University, Istanbul. Originally from Pakistan, Ali has a Model UN career spanning over 6 years and well upwards of 60 conferences. Having been introduced to the Spanish circuit in 2013, Ali has been chairing the Security Council at C’MUN Barcelona for three years running, and also holds workshops for delegates during the conference every year. He is the co-founder of Delegates Corner, a Model UN training and facilitation firm based out of Istanbul with commercial presence in Turkey, Israel, Pakistan, Spain, the United States, Ireland, Germany, and the United Kingdom. About SEIMUN, his comments were, “SEIMUN is a very close project for me, because the team working on it is like a family. The conference will definitely be the best that Southern Spain has ever seen, and will quickly climb the ranks to become one of Europe’s top conferences within the next three years”.
